Benjamin Schäfer

Benjamin Schäfer received the Diploma degree in physics from the University of Magdeburg, Germany, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Göttingen, in 2017. Pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Göttingen, Germany, London, U.K., and Tokyo, Japan. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, Göttingen, Technical University Dresden, Germany, and as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Queen Mary University of London. In 2021, he worked as an Associate Professor in physics at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Since 2022, he has been leading the Young Investigator Group on Data-Driven Analysis of Complex Systems for a Sustainable Future at KIT, Germany.
