个人简介
Dr Zhang received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow in 2015 under the supervision of Professor Michael R Blatt. During his PhD, Dr Zhang made several key advances in the mechanism of potassium channel reulation. After obtaining PhD, Dr Zhang worked continually with Prof Michael Blatt at the University of Glasgow as a post-doctoral researcher and further investigated the role of SNARE proteins and SEC11 protein in ion channel regulation. Dr Zhang's research interest includes mechanism of vesicle traffic and channel regulation, C4 crop abiotic stress-related gene function, and new technique used for protein-protein interaction analysis.
