I work in the Artificial Intelligence lab on iceberg detection and tracking, computer vision for biodiversity monitoring and conservation and digital twinning of the environment. My background is in coastal biogeomorphology with interests in predicting landform changes and how they will translate into future risks and delivery of ecosystem services.I am interested more broadly in biophysical system interactions, including questions around conservation within farmed landscapes. I primarily work with a range of remotely-sensed data and machine learning methods to build data-driven models of complex systems for the benefit of the planet.
