Bart Schultz

I obtained my PhD degree from Delft University of Technology. My career includes more than 40 years of research, advising and project implementation on land and water development, drainage, irrigation, flood management and environmental engineering. I visited about 35 countries for international research, advicing in projects and for teaching. Under my guidance 200 overseas participants obtained their MEng degree, 190 their MSc degree and 23 their PhD degree. I am author of more than 350 scientific papers and editor of several proceedings of Conferences. In the period 1999 - 2002 I was President of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID). I am chairman Editorial Board Irrigation and Drainage. In 2016 I was awarded with the 2nd World Irrigation and Drainage Prize.
