Bio

Bin Yong received the Ph.D. degree (successive master–Ph.D. program) in cartography and geography information system from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2008. He is currently a Professor with State Key Laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering, Hohai University, Nanjing. He has published more than 80 articles on some journals related to remote sensing and hydrology. He has been invited to give keynote lectures in several important international conferences about satellite precipitation and its hydrological applications. His research interests include remote sensing retrievals, satellite precipitation, and hydrological simulation and prediction. Prof. Yong is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Hydrometeorology.
