Bruno Quesson

Bruno Quesson received the Ph.D. degree in instrumental physics from the University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France, in 1998. From 2001 to 2004, he joined the company Image Guided Therapy, Pessac, France, to develop MRI-thermometry and high-intensity focused ultrasound. He joined the CNRS in 2004. He is currently the Director of Research at the Research Laboratory INSERM U1045, Bordeaux, and the Liryc Institute, Bordeaux, Pessac, France, focused on cardiac electrical dysfunctions. His research covers the development of new technologies in the field of real-time image-guided therapies for biomedical applications. This includes technical developments in ultrasound, MRI, optics, radio frequency, real-time image processing, preclinical validation, and tech transfer to industry to promote clinical applications of these technologies.
