Bernhard Pfeifer was born in Schwaz, Austria, in 1972. He received the Diploma degree in computer sciences from Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria, in 1996. Since April 2003, he has been a Research Fellow with the START Y144-N04 Research Program, University for Heathsciences, Medical Informatics and Technology, Hall, Austria. His research interests include image processing, and software development, especially its application to semiautomatic patient-specific volume conductor modeling for noninvasive imaging of cardiac electrophysiology.
