Bharat Kale is presently Scientist-F and Director in C-MET, Pune, and has 27 years experience in research and development of electronic materials. He has completed his post-graduation in Physical Chemistry in 1986 at University of Pune and completed the Ph.D. in well-known research Institute National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India in 1991. After joining to C-MET, Pune in 1991, he had been to University of Leeds, UK in 1996 as a visiting scientist and in Korea 2005, 2014 as a Brain pool fellow. He had been to Japan, Slovenia for short period. He has expertise in synthesis of nanostructured materials using different methods like Sol-gel, Microwave, hydrothermal, CVD, gel-combustion, etc. He has also long experience in glass fabrications. Dr. Kale is Expert in Glass nanocomposites preparation and its photocatalytic study. He is also working on Lithium ion and lithium air batteries. He has more than 181 papers $({\rm h-index}=27)$ in well-reputed international Journals and has 24 patents. He has maximum external funding i.e., 1.5 Million dollar for the projects.
