Research Interests
My research interests include the plasma synthesis of structured materials (bulk, thin films, and nanoparticle) and their applications in electronic and energy sciences.
In particular, my research work focuses on studying the electronic and optoelectronic properties of advanced materials, to design/synthesis novel structures with a controlled composition, morphology and dimension for PV, electronic and space applications.
An emphasis is currently placed on the PV Energy field of research, revolving more specifically around two main axes, namely:
The silicon technology that includes the design, fabrication and testing of silicon heterojunction solar cells for applications in a hot and sunny climate; and the development of an experimental protocol for the optimization of PV properties for quasi-mono Si wafers applied to design SHJ-PV devices.
The emerging PV technologies that comprise the preparation and optimization of various components for organo-metallic perovskite based solar cell (especially new Quantum dots and ETM materials).
