Bio
Ayoub H. Jaafar received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in applied physics from the Department of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2009 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Hull, Hull, U.K., in 2018. His doctoral research focused on nonvolatile RRAM technologies switched by optical and/or electronic means. He worked as Product Development Officer, short term research (August 2018–January 2019) on developing optical RRAM devices with the Laboratory of Nanophysics (Dr. Neil Kemp), Department of Physics and Mathematics, University of Hull. His current research interests include novel light tunable RRAM technologies and their applications in integrated circuits and neuromorphic computing systems based on nanocomposite materials and graphene oxide.
