We currently work on several projects including; -assessment of the role of several genes on drug resistance mechanisms in hepatocellular carcinoma by using human cell line models. -performing phylogenetic analysis to track evolutionary events in several viruses and virus-associated diseases, including cancer; specifically hepatocellular carcinoma. -assess the role of certain genes in protein aggregation control related with aging process by using yeast as a model organism.
