Astrid Nieße

Astrid Nieße is currently a Professor for digitalized energy systems with the University of Oldenburg. Her research interests include the area of digitalization and digital transformation of energy systems is on the application of distributed and self-organized systems to energy system applications, ranging from the field of distributed algorithms to distributed transaction systems. She is also a Speaker of the Focus Group Energy Informatics of the Germany Informatics Society (GI) and a member of the Editorial Board of the Energy Informatics (Springer).
