Ashutosh Pandey

My research interest lies in understanding the nature of Earth’s mantle and its evolution. I use the mineralogy and geochemistry of deep-seated magmatic rocks as a mantle probe to constrain the nature of large-scale geodynamic processes, such as the reorganization of tectonic plates, melting and differentiation of mantle reservoirs and crust-mantle interaction, all of which affect Earth’s biogeochemical cycles and the formation of critical mineral resources.
