Anton Kiriy was born in Ukraine on October 28, 1965. He received Diploma in chemistry and chemical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from Kiev Polytechnic Institute, Kiev, Ukraine, 1988 and 2000, respectively. Since 2001, he has been a Staff Scientist with Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, Dresden, Germany. His current research interests include single molecule studies, development of the surface-initiated polycondensations for conjugated polymers, and synthesis and applications of nanostructured conjugated polymers.
