Prof Lopez is the author of more than 240 research publications and shares his research interests with a group of highly capable and enthusiastic colleagues. Their work has led to significant insights and breakthrough discoveries in understanding how soluble factors and their receptors work in health and in diseases such as allergic inflammation and some cancers. This path has led to new paradigms of cell signalling and has underpinned the development of new antibodies as diagnostic tools as well as potential therapeutics that can improve clinical practice.
