Andrew Pomerene

Andrew T. Pomerene is currently silicon photonics integration engineering lead at Sandia National Lab MESA facility. He has been involved with Ge photodiode and waveguide loss optimization. Prior to joining Sandia, he was the chief engineer of the silicon photonics foundry at BAE Systems, which used the fully integrated WaveMOS flow of Ge detectors, modulators and tunable filters also used by the OpSIS foundry. Prior work was performed on the DARPA Si Phaser, ASP and EPIC programs. He has been an author and coauthor of 24 patents and more than 61 publications.
