Andrew James Samson

Assistant Professor at the Center for Translational Neuromedicine, University of Copenhagen, investigating the physiology of astrocytes and neurons in mammalian circuits. Using an optical approach (transcranial imaging, 2-photon microscopy, fiber photometry) combined with electrophysiology and behavioural assessment, I investigate how astrocytes and neurons communicate with each other at cellular and circuit levels, in vivo, in health and disease.
