Andrés Vásquez Quintero was born in Pasto, Colombia, in 1984. He received the B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniera, Colombia, in 2008, the B.Eng. and Master Recherche degrees in mechanics and production engineering from the cole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz, Metz, France, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree in microelectronics engineering from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in flexible and printed electronics from the Ecoly Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2015. He is currently a Marie Curie IF Post-Doctoral Fellow with CMST, Ghent Univeristy, Ghent, Belgium, and imec, Leuven, Belgium. His current research interests include heterogeneous integration of flexible/stretchable electronic systems with emphasis on smart contact lenses.
