Andrei Dragomir

Andrei Dragomir (M’09) received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Patras, Patras, Greece. He is a Senior Research Fellow with the N.1 Institute for Health, National University of Singapore, Singapore, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Harrington Department of Bioengineering, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA. His current research interests include the development of complex networks methods for deciphering and monitoring brain function, as well as methods for multimodal and multiscale analysis of biological data (gene regulatory networks, protein interaction modeling, and disease progression pathways). Dr. Dragomir is a member of the IEEE EMBS Technical Committee on Neuroengineering and has served on the scientific and organizing committees of several conferences and summer schools, such as the IEEE EMBS Neural Engineering Conference, the International Summer School on Biocomplexity, Biodesign and Bioinnovation, and the Advanced Study Institute on Global Healthcare Challenges.
