Andreas Trugler

I'm a computer scientist and theoretical physicist with strong background in numerical simulations, physics at the nanoscale, machine learning and artificial intelligence. I'm working as co-head of the data security research area at Know-Center (Research Center for Trustworthy AI), where I focus on privacy-preserving AI. I'm especially interested in homomorphic encryption schemes, secure multi-party computation, quantum machine learning and AI applications in climate research and earth observation. I'm also affiliated with the Institute of Geography and Regional Science at the University of Graz and the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science at Graz University of Technology.
