Andreas Aßmann

Andreas Aßmann (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., and the Doctor of Engineering (Eng.D.) degree in applied photonics from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K., in 2021. He has been a System Architect with STMicroelectronics Research and Development Ltd. with Imaging Division, Edinburgh, U.K., since November 2020. His research interests include computational imaging and efficient signal processing for active imaging systems, in particular time-of-flight systems, and computer vision at large with an interest in compressive sensing and machine learning.
