个人简介
Anas Karaki (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Texas A&M at University at Qatar, Doha, Qatar, in 2016 and the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Texas A&M at University, College Station, Texas, USA, in 2020. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Chicago, IL, USA.
In 2020, he was with the Intelligent Power-Electronics at Grid Edge research laboratory, UIC. He was involved with several research projects addressing the control of microgrids and frequency regulation in standalone power-electronics dominated grids. His research interests include control strategies for grid-connected and islanded inverters mainly considering droop control and model predictive control, parallel-inverter operation, power sharing in power-electronics dominated grids, islanding detection, and frequency restoration for microgrids.
