Anant Agrawal

Anant Agrawal received the B.S. degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, in 1995, and the M.S. degree from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1998, both in electrical engineering. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. From 1998 to 2003, he was with SpectRx, Inc., a biophotonics company, where he was engaged in conducting and managing research and development. He then joined the Optical Diagnostic Devices Laboratory, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, as a Researcher. His current research interests include optical spectroscopy and imaging for medical applications, and the optical properties of materials and nanostructures.
