Amir A. Zeki, MD, MAS is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Zeki's research is in the area of airway epithelial biology including lipids and metabolism as they relate to chronic inflammation, asthma, COPD, and novel therapeutics. His interests include pulmonary physiology, immunology, and cell biology. Dr. Zeki also co-directs the U.C. Davis Asthma Network Clinic at U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA, and is Associate Director of the Reversible Obstructive Airway Disease (ROAD) Center. Dr. Zeki is the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on several intramural and extramural funded NIH grants.
