During the last years, I focused on brain-inspired computing with spiking neural networks simulated in software and emulated on neuromorphic hardware.
I see myself as a generalist, ready to use any tool available to solve a scientific problem.
I studied in excellent interdisciplinary bachelor’s and master’s programs and have a background in chemistry, biology, psychology, and computational neuroscience.
I am fascinated by the brain and its function. One of my goals is to find missing links between the top-down and bottom-up approaches to understand the brain’s computation.
