I am an epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience working at Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research. My research focuses on the evaluation of vaccine safety and effectiveness, and the surveillance of vaccine-preventable or other infectious disease. I have successfully led over 50 federally-funded grants and contracts, and have authored over 250 peer-reviewed publications. I hold an adjunct faculty appointment in epidemiology at The University of Iowa College of Public Health, and I have mentored ten master’s degree program students and one postdoctoral fellow from The University of Iowa and Oregon Health and Science University. I have a wealth of experience researching influenza, human papillomavirus (HPV), COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines. I also serve as a member of my institutional leadership team and supervise and mentor a large team of researchers and study staff.
