Alison Hogan

I started my Phd project in January 2015 with Associate Professor Ian Blair and Dr Nicholas Cole at Macquarie University. My project is aimed at developing zebrafish models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) based on a disease-linked mutation in the CCNF gene. I have developed a transient model to study devleopmental changes associated with the CCNF mutation and an inducible transgenic line to examine the effects of persisitent expression of mutant CCNF in the adult fish.
