Alexey S. Payusov

Alexey Payusov received the Engineer degree in optical and optical electronic devices and equipment from the Saint Petersburg State University of Information Technologies Mechanics and Optics, Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in semiconductor physics from the Nanotechnology Research and Education Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Saint Petersburg Academic University, Saint Petersburg. He is currently a Junior Researcher at Saint Petersburg Academic University. His current research interests include the physics of nanostructures, and the research and development of high power, high brightness lasers and vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers for communication and computing systems.
