Alessandro Vaccaro

Alessandro Vaccaro received the M.Sc. degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Palermo, Palermo, Italy with a dissertation on 3-D CFD direct numerical simulation of transient turbulent flows. He is a Nuclear Engineer with the University of Palermo, in 2007. From 2007 to 2017, he was with the Institute of Advanced Material, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany, where he was involved in the numerical analyses and results validation by the experiments for the EC H&CD upper launcher in ITER, CAD modeling, FEM structural, thermal and electromagnetic analyses, and CFD simulations. Since 2017, he has been a Structural Analysis Officer with the ITER Organization, St. Paul Lez Durance Cedex, France.
