Aidong Shen

Aidong Shen received the B.S. degree in physics from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Science, Shanghai, China, in 1992. He is currently an Assistant Professor of electrical engineering at The City College of The City University of New York, New York. His current research interests include semiconductor materials and devices, particularly molecular beam epitaxial growth of III-V and II-VI semiconductors for novel photonic and spintronic device applications. He is the author or coauthor of more than 70 articles published in refereed journals. Prof. Shen is a member of the American Physical Society.
