2. Post-doctoral visiting Fellow, Food Research Development Center (FRDC), at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Research Center, Saint-Hyacinthe, QC, Canada from May 2011– April 2013.
3. Research Assistant, Food Research Development Center (FRDC), Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada from December 2010 until May 2011.
4. Ph.D. Research, Department of Food Science & Agricultural Chemistry, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada (2006-2010).
Thesis title: “An Investigation of the Effects of Microwave Treatment on the Structure, Enzymatic Hydrolysis, and Nutraceutical Properties of Lactoglobulin.
5. Teaching Assistant at Food Science and Natural Resources departments of McGill University, 2006-2009 in the subjects of General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. Tasks included organization, preparation of experimental protocols, supervision, marking lab assignments and examinations of over 100 students per term. Furthermore, as a senior graduate student conducted training of graduate students at the Food Research Development Center and Food Science Department of McGill university on different analytical techniques.
6. Research Assistant in the Department of Nutrition, National Research Center, Egypt (2002-2005).
Tasks: Preparation of Egyptian food composition table of macro and micro nutrient of food samples most commonly consumed in Egyptian diets as part of a joint project between FAO and the Government of Egypt. In addition to conducting nutritional animal and human trials.
