Ahmed A. Elbery

Ahmed Elbery (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree (with Hons.) in electrical and computer engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Benah University, Egypt, and the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, Egypt. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science form Virginia Tech, USA. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the School of Computing, Queen's University. His research interests include communication and data networking, wireless and vehicular communication, ITS, simulation and modeling of large-scale vehicular networks in smart cities, eco-routing navigation systems. He was a Senior Network Engineer and has numerous network and communication certificates from different vendors including Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei-3Com. He also has network instructor certificates from Juniper, JNCIA, and JNCIS Junos Enterprise Routing and Switching track. He is a Cisco Academy instructor for CCNA, CCNA Wireless, and CCNA Security.
