Adam B. Sefkow (M’17) received the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA, in 2007. In 2016, he was a Designer of pulsed power loads on the Z machine during his tenure at Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, NM, USA. Since 2016, he has been an Assistant Professor of mechanical engineering and physics with the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA. Dr. Sefkow received the Department of Energy Early Career Research Program Award in 2017.
