Abhishek Kumar received the B.Tech. degree with major in aerospace engineering and minor in electronic and computer engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2004, and the M.Sc. degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2012. He was a Research Engineer in read-ink technologies for five years, where he worked on developing various machine learning and pattern recognition algorithms to develop an online hand-writing recognition system. His current research interests include video analytics, image segmentation, and machine learning.
