Prof. Dr. AbdelAziz Belal is professor of soil sciences and precision farming and Head of Agriculture Application, Soil and Marine Division at National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSS), Cairo, Egypt. He hase earned a PhD Degree in the field of precision farming using remote sensing and GIS form Freiburg University, Germany (2006). From March to June 2007, he was Postdoctoral Student in Institute of Agricultural Remote Sensing & Information Application, Zhejiang University. Aslo, he was , Postdoctoral student from July 2008 to Sept. 2008 in the Agriculture Dept., Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen , Copenhagen Denmark and From December 2009 to January 2010, he was visite researcher in the Institute for Photogrammetry (IFP), Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and Geodesy, University of Stuttgart, Germany. He has many publications in indexed journals and joined many International conferences and workshops, in addition i was the instructor for many remote sensing and GIS training courses, which were organized by (NARSS). He is also serving as a member of the Editorial board and reviewer of many journals.My experience includes working in field of application of remote sensing and GIS, GPS technologies in natural resources management.
