Dr. Scott is a member of the Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology Multidisciplinary Program at The University of Arizona Cancer Center. This comprehensive program includes weekly multidisciplinary tumor board meetings, bi-monthly research meetings, and research collaborations with the Developmental Therapeutics/Phase 1 Program. In addition, he is involved in developing research projects across specialities including Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiology, and Pathology. Dr. Scott is also the site Principal Investigator of the Academic GI Cancer Consortium (AGICC), which is a nationwide collaborative research group dedicated to finding better treatment options for patients with GI cancer. He is interested in the development of novel therapeutic strategies to treat and prevent colorectal cancer in young adults.
