个人简介
He has been involved in over $15 million research grants including 2 ARC Discovery Project, 1 ARC Research Hub, 1 ARC Training Centre, 3 ARC Linkage Project, 3 ARC LIEF, 1 US NIH R01, numerous Government grants, Industry grants, and University grants. He has produced over 330 publications including 1 book, 16 Book Chapters, 141 Journal Papers, and 180 Conference papers. He has 3 patents and 2 pending patents. He served as the Associate Head of School (Research) with the School of Engineering, Deakin University, for several years. He is an OzReader with the Australian Research Council, and reviews for several international journals. He has carried out applied research and consultancy for over 25 Australian and international companies. He has supervised 21 PhD and 5 Master by Research completions, and is currently supervising 7 PhD students. He is the Leader of Deakin University's Advanced Integrated Microsystems (AIM) Research Group.
Research interests
Prof Kouzani provides research leadership in design, implementation, and evaluation of integrated and connected electro-mechanical systems, circuits, and instruments that incorporate sensing, actuation, control, wireless transmission, networking and IoT, data acquisition/storage/analysis, AI, energy harvesting, power management, as well as mechanical multiphysics modelling and rapid prototyping/fabrication, and characterisation for tackling research questions relating to a variety of application disciplines including healthcare, mining, infrastructure, automotive, manufacturing, energy, utilities, and agriculture.
