I am associate professor at the Department of the Built Environment, Aalborg University, Denmark. I have background in analytical chemistry with expertise in infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) for analysis of microplastics. I work on the development and improvement of analytical methods to quantify microplastics (MPs) in different environmental matrices, like WWTPs, stormwater ponds, soils, sediments, freshwaters, marine waters, and indoor air.
