Anish Roy is a Professor in Mechanics of Materials and Processes at Loughborough University, UK. He received his masters and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, USA and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. His research interests are in machining and high deformation processes with a focus in developing theoretical and computational techniques which can bridge spatio-temporal scales applied to problems in material science.
