Anil Rai received the BSc degree from the University of Delhi, the MSc and PhD degree from Post Graduate School, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR), New Delhi, India. He is presently working as head, Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (ICAR), New Delhi, India. He has published more than 100 research articles in high impact reputed journals and large numbers of book chapters/popular articles. He has been invited to deliver talks in Conferences/ Workshops/Training and recipient of Jawaharlal Nehru award for Social Sciences and many other prestigious awards. His research interests include computational biology, bioinformatics, spatial modeling, data warehousing and complex survey data analysis.
