个人简介
Andrew J. Hill (Member, IEEE) currently leads the Rio Tinto Centre for Mine Automation, a long-running partnership between Sydney University and Rio Tinto, developing fundamental research and step-change technology for automation in mining. Additionally, he has been conducting research with the Australian Centre for Field Robotics since 2006. His main research interests include persistent field robotics: automating sensing, mapping and control of large-scale outdoor robots for safe, reliable, long-term operation. As the field has advanced, has led him to investigate the automation of fleets of robots, with a focus on reliable, efficient and sustainable operations.
