Aleandro Amauri de Espindola was born in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 1976. He received the B.E.E. degree and the M.Sc. degree, with thesis on evaluation of magnetic power loss in devices under rotational magnetic field, from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianopólis, Brazil, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. Since 2003, he has been a Motor Development Engineer with the Department of Technological Development, Whirlpool/Embraco S.A., Joinville, Brazil. His fields of interest are electrical calculation of induction and synchronous machines.
